As a Business Analyst Consultant, you will support the maintenance and development of multiple applications used across various domains managed by CMS (Central Market Services), including:
- National Control Center
- Market Development
- Customer Relations
- Grid Development
- Settlement
- Metering & Data Reporting
You will act as the bridge between business (CMS) and IT teams, ensuring the seamless collaboration and translation of business needs into IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on business process modeling and IT tool support.
- Draft application specifications and prioritize changes for releases.
- Validate IT's functional analysis and test changes in close collaboration with stakeholders.
- Maintain active contact with business and IT teams, as well as other Business Analysts.
- Manage master data and ensure business process governance.
- Support the business in optimal tool usage and deliver user training sessions.
- Ensure ongoing application maintenance and improvements.
Project domains include:
- Market Development, Energy Auctions, and Bidding
- Market Capacity Remuneration Mechanism (CRM)
What We Need
- Education: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: 2-5 years in business analysis and writing System Requirements based on business needs.
- Affinity with IT systems (Frontend/Backend, B2B messaging, web services, XML).
- Knowledge of the energy sector is a plus.
- Experience writing and executing test plans.
- Languages: Excellent command of English, and either French or Dutch (with knowledge of the other language).
- Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking, independent work ethic, and excellent planning and organizational skills.
