Our client, a leading organization in the Energy Sector, is seeking an experienced Procurement Process Owner to drive procurement excellence through process optimization, digital transformation, and continuous improvement.
You will own end-to-end procurement processes, improve operational efficiency, support system implementations, and collaborate with Procurement, Business, Finance, and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable and compliant procurement solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Own, design, and continuously improve procurement processes and supporting tools.
- Drive procurement transformation and process improvement initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional projects from planning through implementation.
- Support the adoption of new procurement processes, systems, and ways of working.
- Develop procurement KPIs, reporting, and performance insights.
- Identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, and optimization.
- Create process documentation and support training activities.
- Act as a subject matter expert for procurement processes and systems.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance, and regulatory requirements.
Required experience & skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, especially Procure-to-Pay (P2P).
- Experience in procurement process design, optimization, and transformation.
- Strong knowledge of:
- SAP MM (S/4HANA)
- SAP Public Cloud
- SAP Fiori
- Experience with digital procurement solutions and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Structured, hands-on, and process-oriented mindset.
- Experience driving change and working across multidisciplinary teams.
- Language requirements:
- Professional English proficiency.
- Good command of French and/or Dutch.
