Junior Accountant (Accounts Payable Focus) - 6 Month Assignment
📍 Province of Antwerp | 4 days on-site, 1 day home working
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support our Chief Accountant during a 6-month assignment. The role is mainly focused on Accounts Payable, with exposure to monthly closing and general accounting tasks for one legal entity.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and booking purchase invoices
- Managing vendor accounts and preparing payment runs
- Following up on invoice discrepancies
- Supporting invoice approval workflows (SAP is a plus)
- Assisting with monthly closing and reconciliations
- Supporting VAT declarations, Intrastat, and monthly revenue declarations (plus)
Profile
- Bachelor in Accounting or equivalent experience
- Experience in invoicing and accounts payable (required)
- Strong Excel skills (essential)
- ERP experience is a plus (SAP is a strong plus)
- Dutch and English required
- Eager to learn and understand the reasoning behind accounting processes
- Accurate, hands-on, and proactive
