The assignment
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to publication processes, approval workflows, and patent application systems
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), including user story writing, backlog management, acceptance criteria definition, and DoD/DOR practices
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Brief and translate to key development partners for build
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder discussions to align on requirements and priorities
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure accurate implementation of solutions
- Support project management activities including planning, tracking progress, and managing risks and dependencies
- Design and execute test plans, coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and ensure solutions meet business requirements
- Analyze and manage data related to publications and patent applications, ensuring data integrity and usability
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend scalable solutions
- Maintain documentation including process flows, system diagrams, and requirement specifications
Required knowledge and skills
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in environments involving publications, approvals, or intellectual property/patent processes
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and tools (e.g., user stories, process mapping, requirement documentation)
- Solid technical acumen with the ability to communicate effectively with development teams
- Experience with project management principles and tools (Agile/Scrum experience is a plus)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with workflow automation tools or document management systems
- Knowledge of data visualization or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Agile methodologies

- Location: An onsite presence of 3 days a week is required. It's not possible to work 100% remote.
