Linux System Engineer M/F

Are you passionate about Linux systems administration and automation? This role is for you.

As a Linux System Engineer, you are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and improvement of Linux environments within our client's ecosystem:

Build responsibilities:

  • Provisioning and decommissioning of Linux servers via RedHat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)

  • Implementing and improving procedures through Bash and Ansible scripting

  • Applying patches and updates on RedHat servers via Satellite

  • Managing IBM storage and Brocade SAN infrastructure

  • Version control and configuration management using GIT

Run responsibilities:

  • Daily Linux operational tasks, monitoring, and incident management

  • Handling Linux incidents and ensuring timely resolution

  • Improving recurring issues through new procedures or automation

  • Acting as a proactive communicator with internal and external clients

Your profile

You have hands-on experience managing RedHat Enterprise Linux environments. You are autonomous, analytical, and enjoy solving complex operational challenges while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Your expertise:

  • Linux Operational: Expert (RedHat Enterprise Linux, RedHat Satellite, RedHat Insight)

  • Scripting: Expert (Ansible, Bash)

  • Virtualization and Backup: VMware vSphere (Intermediate), Veeam Backup & Replication (Intermediate)

  • Storage: IBM Storage (Intermediate), Brocade SAN (Intermediate)

  • Incident Management & ITIL: Advanced / Intermediate

  • Tools: ServiceNow (Intermediate)
