Odoo Confirmed Business Analyst

As a Odoo Confirmed Business Analyst, you report to you Team Leader.
JOB OVERVIEW
As a Odoo Confirmed Business Analyst, you are the link between business and IT: you challenge IT solutions and you follow their implementation. You prepare and take charge of workshops with our customers, you analyze customer needs, you ensure the documentation of procedures, you quantify and negotiate the necessary resources, you manage several projects, you follow and check IT developments, you are the business representative for the implementation of solutions and you optimize them, you define the tests to be carried out and the scenarios to be followed, you are the point of support for the end users. You also have Confirmed Project Manager responsibilities: you coordinate all the activities and stakeholders necessary for the realization of the project, you plan meetings with clients to develop project priorities and deadlines, you follow the deliverable to improve the quality of the project, you ensure compliance with the budget, deadlines and you anticipate any overruns, you proactively communicate any changes to those involved in the project, you ensure that the process is well planned, properly executed and well organized.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
As a Odoo Confirmed Business Analyst, your responsibilities will be as follows:
1/ Challenge customer processes (model flows in order to integrate them into Odoo) autonomously

Take customer needs during workshops

Take a critical look at customer needs

Offer the customer a solution that corresponds to his business while guaranteeing optimal integration into Odoo

Make a compromise between the customer's request and the functional framework of Odoo

Model the flows to ensure an optimal understanding of the needs between the customers and the BA
-
Quickly identify the key needs / critical needs of the customer
-
Being able to challenge the projects of other teams (being called upon to audit other projects in very specific cases and without mastering the entire project)
2/ Translate customer needs into development or configuration tasks and ensure that the tasks performed are well documented

Divide the client's needs into several development tasks so that each development task has a specific objective

Describe the tasks in a language understandable by a developer (technico-functional language)

Check that the documentation corresponds to the documented task
-
Check that the documentation is described in clear language for the customer
3/ Carry out functional testing

Write detailed test plans for clients
-
Execute tests to ensure optimal quality of development
4/ Train customers (functional aspects)

Prepare training material
-
Provide training to customers
-
Facilitate question-and-answer sessions
5/ Follow the planning, scope and budget (€ and mandays) of the projects

Plan the project with the client: define priorities and deadlines

Follow the schedule and communicate proactively (internal and external) in the event of a deviation

Communicate to the client any deviation from the initial scope
-
Ensure compliance with the budget and anticipate any overruns
-
Establish a relationship of trust with the client

Build proximity with the customer

Conduct regular status/meetings with client to review schedule, scope and budget

Ensure the profitability of your project and the minimum margin
6/ Respect the Idealis Consulting guidelines regarding Project Management

Respect the life cycle of the project in sprint

Obtain client validation before starting any development (decision note)

Plan regular steering committee's
7/ Ensure that resources are available for your projects

Make sure the right people are in the right place at the right time
8/ Collaborate with your fellow Business Analysts

Set priorities and push the client's priorities

Rely on the BA's for the client's critical needs
-
Ask BAs for help in estimating the workload of certain tasks

Guarantee / monitor the quality of deliverables
-
Create with the BAs, the COP (Cut-Over Plan) and with the client the flow tests, develop the company's agenda with the client
9/ Prepare invoices for its customers (validated by the Team Leader or the coach)

The follow-up of outstanding payments remains in the hands of the sales team
QUALIFICATIONS
The following qualifications are essential for your role as Odoo Confirmed Business Analyst :
Education

Bachelor/Master in a field related to the position (Business Management, Computer Sciences, Engineering, ...)
Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position

Experience with an ERP (Odoo) is an asset
Certification

Odoo certification
Language

French and English

Knowledge of Dutch is an asset
