Job Title: (OT) System Engineer
Our partner, a worldwide known pharmaceutical company specialised in micronuclear medecine to treat cancer, is now looking for an (OT) System Engineer.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining OT infrastructures to ensure the secure and efficient operation of industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, and other OT environments.
The role requires as well international collaboration with IT and operational teams to ensure system reliability, security, and compliance with their industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain OT systems, including SCADA, PLCs, DCS, and other industrial control systems.
- Develop and implement OT network architectures, ensuring integration with IT networks where necessary.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize OT systems for performance and security.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement cybersecurity measures to protect OT infrastructure.
- Work closely with IT and operational teams to align OT strategies with business objectives.
- Work closely with IT to integrate AI in the solution landscape.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, IEC 62443, and ISO 27001.
- Maintain and update system documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and policies.
- Provide technical support and training to plant operators and maintenance teams.
- Oversee system upgrades, patch management, and backup strategies.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers for system enhancements and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
- Proven experience in OT, industrial control systems, or automation engineering.
- Strong knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, HMIs, DCS, and other industrial automation technologies.
- Experience with OT cybersecurity frameworks and risk management methodologies.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC, PROFIBUS, and Ethernet/IP.
- Understanding of networking concepts, including VLANs, firewalls, and remote access solutions.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong documentation and communication abilities.
- Ability to work in an industrial environment and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443, or CCNA Industrial.
- Experience in industries such as manufacturing, energy, utilities, or transportation.
- Knowledge of cloud-based OT solutions and industrial IoT technologies.
