As a Practice Lead Data & AI, you not only drive your offering forward, but also build and shape our team and design the future of your division. You are an industry or topic expert and a driving force who expands our market presence and strengthens our customer relationships in the rapidly evolving world of Data and Artificial Intelligence.
Your future responsibilities:
- Be a thought leader: You possess excellent knowledge of the modern Data & AI landscape, including Generative AI, MLOps, Data Governance, and Cloud Data Platforms. As our Practice Lead, you shape the future of our data-driven solutions. You not only act as a strategic advisor for our clients and our internal team but also define the roadmap for our Data & AI capabilities.
- Drive growth: You are the engine of our pre-sales activities. You identify new business opportunities where Data & AI create tangible value, develop compelling use cases, and ensure that we not only meet but exceed the needs of our customers. You translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
- Build a thriving community: You foster a vibrant ecosystem for our Data Engineers, Scientists, and Architects. Rather than traditional management, your focus is on creating a culture of knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous learning. You inspire talent to grow and connect, ensuring our community remains at the forefront of Data & AI innovation.
What you bring to the table:
- Holistic view on Data Strategy: Ability to align Data & AI initiatives with broader business goals and enterprise architecture.
- Track record in delivery: Experience in leading and implementing several end-to-end Data Platform or AI/ML projects (from ingestion to insight/model deployment).
- Commercial mindset: Proven expertise in pre-sales, responding to RFPs, and the development of data-driven business solutions.
- Leadership skills: Experience in building teams and the ability to recruit, mentor, and develop scarce technical talent (e.g., Engineers, Scientists, Analysts).
- Methodological strength: A deep understanding of project management (Agile/Scrum) and delivery models specific to data projects (DataOps/MLOps).
- Ambition: The motivation to take on a leading role in a dynamic and growing environment.
- Mindset: Entrepreneurial, forward-looking, and solution-oriented actions.
- Technical background: Solid understanding of the modern data stack (e.g., Azure/AWS/GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, Python/SQL). Certifications in these areas are a strong plus.
- Language skills: Very good English skills are required, but C1-level Dutch skills are an absolute prerequisite.
