Resiliency / IT Continuity Engineer

We are looking for a Resiliency / IT Continuity Engineer to join our financial services client in Brussels. If you are passionate about ensuring IT continuity, thrive in Agile environments, and enjoy turning complex challenges into seamless solutions, this role is for you.
As a Resiliency Engineer, you will work with a multidisciplinary, high-performing team to ensure IT services remain robust in the face of critical failures or cyber incidents.
Responsibilties

Owning the delivery, validation, and continuous improvement of Critical Recovery Run Books (CRB) and Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises.

Collaborating with application owners and technical teams to address gaps in resiliency deliverables.

Acting as the primary contact for multiple teams on all resiliency matters.

Monitoring and supporting changes within the infrastructure and applications that impact recovery plans.

Participating in transversal DR exercises, including capacity studies, risk assessments, mitigation planning, and execution facilitation (including evenings/weekends, 3 times per year).

Contributing to the Master Run Book (MRB) by consolidating actions across all CRBs.
What we're looking for:

3-5 years of experience in IT resiliency, security, operations, or architecture.

Strong knowledge or a keen interest in the resiliency domain and its challenges.

Experience with Windows, Linux, Mainframe, Cloud, middleware, application development, or databases is a plus.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to review and validate architecture diagrams and processes with a focus on resiliency.

Excellent English (Dutch/French is a bonus).
