Robert Half is currently recruiting an Application Manager for an organization located in the Antwerp region.
Our client is an international supplier in the printing industry.
As an Application Manager you are responsible for Demand Management, Project Delivery and the Application Architecture of one or more business domains.
Responsabilities
Demand management:
- Serve as the primary IT contact for one or more business domains.
- Align IT-related business requirements with the specific goals of stakeholders.
- Propose IT solutions to address business requirements.
- Initiate change requests and projects in collaboration with external partners.
- Set priorities for requests and projects with business analysts.
- Manage the project portfolio and prepare annual budget proposals.
- Evaluate and compare implementation proposals from various IT providers.
Project delivery:
- Track the progress and budget of change requests and projects within your domain.
- Play a hands-on role in managing change requests and projects.
- Act as a liaison between internal customers and IT partners.
- Oversee issue resolution efforts, ensuring coordination between business units and support partners.
Application architecture:
- Manage the application landscape in your domain.
- Propose simplification and optimization aligned with the IT strategy.
- Develop and guide the application and integration roadmap for Logistics & Supply Chain.
- Ensure data flows meet data protection, security standards, and other non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate with business process analysts to streamline business processes.
- Stay updated on technological advancements and evaluate opportunities for optimizing the application landscape.
The requested qualifications for this job include
- You have a master's degree, preferably in IT, business administration or commercial engineering or equivalent through experience.
- You are familiar with ERP systems and SAP products as a functional consultant SAP SCM (Supply Chain Management), SAP MM.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain Management are a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP WMS/EWM, Interfacing to 3rd party warehouse systems and Microsoft M365 Suite are an asset.
- You have a minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in IT project management.
- You have experience with business processes in Logistics and Supply Chain.
- You have experience with business relationship management in an enterprise environment
- You can work independently and can plan and manage your work.
- You aim for a high level of quality.
- You are highly motivated and eager to learn new skills.
- You are fluent in English, both in writing and orally. Dutch is an asset.
