Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend services for power trading applications supporting front-office operations in an agile feature team, collaborating with traders, analysts, and core infrastructure teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain trading application backend services
- Build and enhance pre-trade pricers and option exercise features
- Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into robust technical designs
- Develop and maintain APIs for data retrieval, processing, and distribution across systems
- Participate in architecture design, code reviews, and troubleshooting of complex components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions
- Develop automated tests, manage deployments, and monitor production stability
- Produce technical documentation, including specifications and architecture diagrams
