SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST - BRUSSELS
Overview
We are seeking multiple Senior Business Analysts to support critical transformation and IT initiatives within a Public sector client.
You will work across a range of complex projects including financial systems, regulatory platforms, and data-driven initiatives, requiring strong functional and technical analysis expertise.
Experience Required: Minimum 10 years relevant experience
Your Responsibilities
- Perform detailed functional analysis to define business and user requirements
- Translate business needs into clear technical specifications
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders
- Support IT project delivery from analysis through to implementation
- Test and validate system outputs against requirements
- Produce and maintain high-quality documentation
MUST-HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years as a Business Analyst in complex IT environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proven experience with:

- Functional architecture
- Use cases
- Data modelling
- Functional requirements documentation
- Strong knowledge of UML and BPMN
- Experience facilitating workshops and gathering requirements
- Experience working in Agile environments and testing cycles
- MVP (Minimum Viable Product) delivery exposure
- English (mandatory)
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- French or Dutch
- Python
- UI/UX expertise
- BI tools experience
- Agile Scrum methodology
- Scrum Master experience or certification
- Public sector experience
Eligibility Requirements
- Senior-level profile (10+ years experience)
- Right to work in Belgium (EU or valid permit)
- Available from June 2026
Working Conditions
- 2-3 days onsite in Brussels
- Flexible depending on project needs
- 12-month contract
