About the Role
We are looking for an experienced ITSM/ITAM Consultant to strengthen our client's team. In this role, you will manage, support, and continuously improve our ITSM/ITAM platform (BMC Helix), contributing both to internal initiatives and customer-facing consulting missions.
You will act as a subject‑matter expert, helping design optimized service management solutions, delivering technical configurations, and supporting the evolution of our tooling landscape. Your work will have a direct impact across the entire organization.
Your Mission
As an ITSM/ITAM Consultant, you will:
Platform Management & Development
- Configure, administer, and troubleshoot NRB's ITSM/ITAM platform (BMC Helix).
- Design and implement workflows, forms, business rules, and integrations.
- Deploy product updates, identify production issues, and ensure platform stability.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices.
Support & Continuous Improvement
- Diagnose and resolve incidents related to the platform.
- Manage change requests from analysis through implementation.
- Maintain clear, up‑to‑date documentation of configurations and designs.
- Identify and propose improvement opportunities for processes and tooling.
Collaboration & Consulting
- Work closely with internal teams across the company.
- Participate in customer-facing consulting missions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, facilitating requirement gathering and change management.
Your Team
You will join a team of ten specialists within the Service & Tooling Integration unit.
You will work closely with experts in middleware, platform management, and service integration and be coached by Cymon Birtles, your direct manager.
Your Profile
Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ITSM tool administration or implementation.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes.
- Experience with workflow engines, CMDB concepts, and asset models.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical configurations.
- Proficiency in French and English (Dutch is a plus).
- Analytical mindset, autonomy, teamwork, and excellent communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of BMC Helix platforms.
- Experience with REST / SOAP APIs, XML, JSON.
- Scripting skills (Powershell, JavaScript, SQL).
- Understanding of relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle).
