They're still small enough that every engineer has a genuine impact, but growing fast enough to offer exciting technical challenges and career progression. As they scale, they're looking for a Software Engineer who will have the opportunity to influence the product, contribute to technical decisions, and help shape the future of of the engineering team.
You'll work across the full stack to build and improve our cloud-based SaaS platform, collaborating closely with Product, Customer Success, and fellow engineers.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing new product features from concept to deployment
- Building intuitive user interfaces using React and TypeScript
- Developing scalable backend services with Node.js and TypeScript
- Creating and maintaining REST APIs
- Improving application performance, reliability, and scalability
- Writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code
- Participating in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
- Reviewing code and contributing to engineering best practices
- Helping shape the future direction of our product as the company grows
Your profile
- Commercial experience developing modern web applications
- Strong knowledge of React
- Strong experience with Node.js
- Excellent TypeScript skills
- Experience building REST APIs
- Familiarity with cloud-based SaaS applications
- Experience working with GIT and modern development workflows
- A focus on writing high-quality, maintainable code
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- Docker and containerisation
- CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Event-driven architectures
- Manufacturing, logistics, or industrial software
