System Engineer (Endpoint Infrastructure)

🏢 On-site: Up to 5 days/week on-site required

💰 Rate: 65-70/h
Overview
We are looking for a senior System Engineer with extensive experience in large-scale enterprise environments to manage, maintain, and evolve a complex endpoint infrastructure supporting more than 100,000 endpoints and 1,000+ applications. You will be responsible for ensuring the availability, security, performance, and continuous improvement of the endpoint ecosystem across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and support desktops, laptops, smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and industrial devices.

Design, implement, and maintain endpoint and backend infrastructure solutions.
*
Perform upgrades, migrations, deployments, and infrastructure enhancements.
*
Conduct technical feasibility studies and recommend optimal solutions.
*
Ensure infrastructure stability, security, and compliance.
*
Provide 3rd line support and participate in on-call activities when required.
*
Act as a technical advisor for business and IT stakeholders.
*
Maintain accurate technical documentation and share knowledge across teams.
Required Experience
*
Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.
*
Minimum 10 years of experience in System Engineering or Endpoint Infrastructure.
*
Experience in enterprise environments with:
*
100,000+ endpoints
*
1,000+ software packages
*
Experience working within ITIL-driven organizations.
*
MCSA, MCSE, MCSD or equivalent Microsoft certification.
