About the assignment
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Enterprise Architect with deep rooted expertise in the HR Technology landscape for a strategic 9-month consultancy mission at a prominent, multi-entity Belgian organization.
As a pivotal advisor, you will bridge the gap between complex HR business capabilities and enterprise-wide technology solutions. You will lead the "As-is" assessment, define the "To-be" architecture, and guide the organization through a critical, vendor-neutral selection process for their future Core HCM and Learning ecosystem.
Key responsibilities
Your mission is structured around three core competency layers:
- enterprise architecture & strategy
- Conduct comprehensive As-is assessments across a complex, multi-entity organizational structure.
- Design the To-be architecture and perform rigorous gap analyses.
- Lead business capability mapping specifically tailored to modern HR/People operations.
- market evaluation & RFI/RFP management
- Drive the end-to-end RFI/RFP processes for major Human Capital Management (HCM) and/or Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Formulate and defend a vendor-neutral platform recommendation to C-level stakeholders, balancing business needs, total cost of ownership (TCO), and technical feasibility.
- integration & Data design
- Design the integration blueprints mapping out how the future HR ecosystem will connect with the broader enterprise technology stack.
- Ensure alignment with corporate data governance, reporting, and analytics standards.
Profile requirements
- Experience & core hard skills
- Enterprise Architecture Mastery: Proven track record in capability mapping, architecture blueprints, and translating business strategy into technical roadmaps.
- HR Platform Expertise: Deep hands-on knowledge of major Tier-1 HCM platforms. Mandatory knowledge of at least 2 to 3 of the following ecosystems:
- SAP SuccessFactors
- Workday
- Cornerstone OnDemand
- Equivalent market-leading HR suites
- Procurement Excellence: Demonstrated experience leading large-scale RFI/RFP processes within a Belgian or Benelux corporate context.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to challenge, influence, and secure buy-in from C-level executives.
- Preferred assets (nice-to-have):
- Strong affinity with the modern HR Analytics landscape, such as experience with SAP BW migrations, SAP Datasphere, Power BI, or Workday Prism Analytics.
- Language & soft skills:
- Languages: Native/Fluent level in Dutch and English is mandatory. Professional proficiency in French is highly valued.
- Mindset: Analytical, vendor-neutral, politically savvy, and adept at navigating the nuances of multi-entity corporate structures.
