Main purpose
The ERP Business Project Manager will act as the primary business representative for the ERP Program. This role ensures that business needs are captured, processes are accurately modeled and validated, and functional domains are effectively integrated and tested within the ERP system. The position coordinates Domain Leaders and Key Users to guarantee business readiness and successful change adoption.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the business-side of the ERP program in close collaboration with the IT Project Manager
- Coordinate Domain Leaders, Key Users, and Business Process Owners (Bpos) during design, testing, data migration, and training phases
- Ensure end-to-end business process modeling in ERP through Business Blueprints
- Take part in Steering Committees and arbitrate functional decisions where required
- Ensure alignment between business needs and ERP standard functionalities
- Supervise the preparation and execution of business test plans and acceptance testing
- Oversee and validate business cut-over plans before go-live
- Lead functional communication and change management support
- Act as the central contact point for business sponsors, including Executive Committee members, CFO, and Business Unit Heads
Key skills
- Strong understanding of core business processes (Finance, Logistics, P2P, O2C, etc.)
- Proven experience in ERP project management (SAP, Infor M3, Microsoft D365, or similar)
- Cross-functional leadership and facilitation skills
- Strong decision-making capabilities and ability to perform trade-off analyses between business and technical options
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with change management practices and user adoption strategies
Profile required
- Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent field
- 8-10 years of experience in ERP programs or large-scale transformation projects
- Prior experience as a business coordinator, functional lead, or similar role
- Fluency in French and English is required
