For an enterprise consulting customer, I am searching for a freelance Business Analyst to work on several projects for their internal stakeholders, including an S/4HANA implementation, SaaS solutions and Finance (contract-to-cash) etc. The core focus of this assignment is business analysis however depending on your profile there can also be some functional analysis tasks too.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across business functions to understand needs, define problems, and translate them into clear business requirements.
- Lead stakeholder meetings and workshops to gather input, challenge assumptions, and drive consensus on priorities and direction.
- Deliver high-quality presentations and reports to senior stakeholders, synthesizing available data—even when information is incomplete or evolving.
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives, balancing structure and flexibility to meet diverse stakeholder expectations.
- Act as a bridge between business teams and technical resources, ensuring alignment on scope, feasibility, and timelines.
- Support change management and communication efforts by crafting stakeholder-friendly documentation, including process flows, impact assessments, and strategic overviews.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and areas of ambiguity, and propose structured solutions.
- Work independently while ensuring regular communication with project sponsors and functional leads.
Profile
- 5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical, stakeholder-facing role.
- Proven experience working on multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Experience in "high tempo" or large enterprise organisations.
- Experience on SaaS or Finance projects is an advantage.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills—able to influence and communicate clearly with senior audiences.
- Highly autonomous, with a proactive mindset and the ability to take initiative without constant guidance.
- Comfortable working in uncertain or evolving contexts, and capable of bringing structure and clarity when full information is not yet available.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to tell a compelling story with limited data.
