VoIP Engineer - the opportunity
- Troubleshoot and resolve VoIP issues (SIP signaling, call routing, provisioning), working directly with customers and replicating problems in test environments
- Support and monitor our proprietary provisioning and routing engine, proactively identifying issues through system logs, alerts, and ticket queues
- Document support cases, resolutions, and known issues in the internal knowledge base while collaborating with senior engineers and development teams
- Participate in training and mentorship sessions to deepen knowledge of SBCs, Telecom protocols, and real-time communication systems
VoIP Engineer - the perfect match
- Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, IT, or equivalent experience, with a solid grasp of VoIP technologies (SIP, RTP) and Linux command-line tools
- Strong problem-solving mindset, proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and effective communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Familiarity with SBCs (e.g., Oracle, Audiocodes, Ribbon), network analysis tools like WireShark, and an interest in routing logic, call flows, and number translation
- Bonus points for experience with SQL databases, scripting (Python/Bash), REST APIs, and an interest in Telecom automation or cloud-native infrastructure
