Workplace Engineer
Context
Our client, a large international company, is looking for a Workplace Engineer to strengthen its End User Computing / Workplace team.
The role focuses on maintaining, improving, and supporting the corporate workplace environment across a large-scale IT infrastructure. The engineer will work closely with infrastructure, support, and project teams to ensure a stable and efficient environment for end users.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the corporate Workplace / End User Computing environment
- Administer and support Windows-based environments
- Manage identities and access through Active Directory and Group Policies
- Maintain endpoint management solutions using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
- Automate operational tasks and system management through Windows PowerShell
- Support collaboration platforms such as Google Workspace and administration through Google Admin
- Support messaging infrastructure such as Microsoft Exchange
- Maintain core network services including Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol
- Troubleshoot complex workplace and system-related issues
- Contribute to workplace improvement and modernization initiatives
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and support teams
Technical Environment

- Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM / MECM)
- Windows PowerShell
- Microsoft Exchange
- Google Workspace / Google Admin
- Chromebook management
- DHCP
- Virtualization technologies
- Nutanix
- Scripting (PowerShell / VBScript)
Profile
- Experience as a Workplace Engineer, System Engineer, or EUC Engineer
- Strong knowledge of Windows enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Group Policies
- Google Workspace / Google Admin / Google Cloud Platform
- Experience managing endpoints
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in enterprise IT environments
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English and French or Dutch
